New e-supermarket e-Fresh.gr made an impressive launch and is registering a 30% monthly rise in sales during the first period of online operations. It is worth stating that this growth rate was maintained also during August, where the market volumes in Attica are usually smaller due to the summer period.

 

A key reason of preference by consumers seems to relate to the immediate delivery of products, since 70% of customers choose same-day delivery. At the same time, data show that any customer who has shopped once, will likely shop again, since 75% of customers have shopped repeatedly.

 

But, what do e-fresh.gr customers shop? The most popular products are found among the fresh milk products, toast sliced cheese, garbage bags, groceries, and health snacks, such as cereal bars. The drinks department of e-fresh.gr is very popular, registering increased sales of wine and beer.

 

Ten per cent of customers place their orders after 10 pm., when traditional stores are closed, opting for even next-morning delivery.

 

The clientele of the company includes several new families, new mothers that appreciate swift deliveries at home, employees choosing night deliveries, between 21:00 23:00, along with older consumers, who opt to place their orders by calling the company call centre.
